MOTOCROSS
Rules and Information
· There is a ten race series, you must race at least five races in the series in order to qualify for the championship trophy
·
· Registration from 7:00am to 8:30am on race morning, Drivers meeting will be at 8:00am practice and racing will start immediately after
* Pee-wee class is only 50cc 4-strokes and air cooled 2 stroke first year riders
· Races are rain or shine if the weather is really bad we’ll cancel the day before, before noon
· If we have to run one moto your finish for that moto will be it for the day
· Numbers must be visible to be scored, the more places you have your number the better
· Each bike must have a kill switch or tether cord, no kick stands
· Rider equipment; Full face helmet, goggles, shirt, pants, gloves, and boots
· All minors must be accomponied by an adult parent or legal guardian. If you cannot attend call us with further information
· Only the registered rider may race the bike he/she registered there is no substituting riders
· If your bike breaks down and you ride another one you must notify us at the sign up building
· If you cut the track you will be docked one lap, if you go off the track you must re-enter as soon as you can without advancing your position
· Yellow Flag; if a yellow flag is thrown you must slow down and use caution no passing or jumping, if you do this under caution you will be docked one lap
· If your entering an age specified class such as 125 youth C or Vet 30+ it goes by what ever age you are as of Jan. 1st
· All camp fires must be in a contained fire pit and cleaned up before you leave
· There is absolutely no crossing the track once a race has started due to safety issues
· The medics have the right to dismiss a rider if they feel its necessary, This is a safety issue that we all need to respect
· You must enter each class based on your riding ability please be honest, We will move you up a class if necessary
· In the 65cc, 50cc and mini atv classes one parent per racer is allowed out on the track during there races
· Promotional points are as follows 1st – 5 points, 2nd – 4 points, 3rd – 3 points, 4th – 2 points, 5th – 1 point
· Scoring; your first and second moto scores combined will be your overall finish for the day, in order to be scored you must cross the checkered flag
· Your finish in the first moto will determine you gate pick for the second moto, and your overall finish for the day will determine you gate pick for the following race
· All pets must be on a leash at all times and you must clean up after them
· No Refunds Period
· The gate will be open at noon on Saturday the day before a race
· Upon entering the facility everyone must wear the wrist bands provided at the gate
